Ella Webb earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University in May of 2021. She earned her master’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Alabama in August of 2023. Ms. Webb has been with Aperture since 2021. Her experience includes vehicle and scene inspections, accident reconstruction, event data recorder (EDR) downloads, and video analysis. She is proficient in AutoCAD, 3DReshaper, FARO 3D Laser Scanner software, Engineering Dynamics Corporation’s Human Vehicle Environment (HVE), and Adobe Premiere. Ms. Webb is a Texas Department of Public Safety Private Investigator, FAA Remote Pilot in Command, SATAI member, and an SAE International Associate Member.

  • Analyze and reconstruct passenger and commercial vehicle accidents
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment, conduct measurements, and photograph the scene and vehicles involved
  • Utilize various tools including the FARO scanner, drones, AutoCAD, 3DReshaper, etc. to create to-scale vehicle and scene diagrams for exhibits
  • Use video analysis techniques or vehicle download data to perform complex calculations for determining vehicle speed, momentum, acceleration, and driver reaction times
