Shane Bowlus is an Accident Reconstructionist with Aperture (formerly Scientific Analysis Inc.). Shane assists in the investigation and documentation of evidence for accidents. In his work with Aperture, he has experience working for both the defense and plaintiff side of litigation. His responsibilities include the documentation of evidence via the inspection of vehicles and accident scenes, data analysis, and the creation of exhibits required for the reconstruction of accidents.
Shane is originally from Austin, Texas. He moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in mathematics. He currently holds an FAA certification for small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS), is a certified Engineer in Training, and is working towards his Professional Engineer license.
