Roger Hathaway

Roger Hathaway is an Accident Reconstructionist and Forensic Investigator with Aperture. Roger’s work experience primarily pertains to vehicle accident reconstruction, but also includes investigation into premise liability and workplace accidents. Roger’s expertise extends through all phases of the investigation and reconstruction of an accident, from field work through data analysis, calculations, simulations, to report writing.

Roger Hathaway received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2016. He is proficient with 3D laser scanning, GPS surveying, photography, aerial drone photography, and in the use of software including AutoCAD, EdCorp HVE, PhotoModeler, and Leica Cyclone 3DR.

Roger is a licensed Private Investigator through the Texas DPS, and a certified Remote Pilot of Unmanned Aircraft Systems through the FAA. He is a certified Bosch CDR and Kia/Hyundai EDR Technician. He has completed his Fundamentals of Engineering exam and holds his Engineer-in-Training certification from NCEES. He has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification acquired from Purdue University.

Roger joined Aperture in early 2022. Prior to that, he worked for FSX Equipment, a company that manufactures equipment used in the service of heavy-duty diesel vehicles. At FSX Roger specialized in design engineering, manufacturing support, and project management.
