Max Kirking is an Accident Reconstructionist with Aperture (formerly Scientific Analysis Inc.). Max has been with Aperture since 2021 and has worked in traffic accident investigation and reconstruction since 2018. Max is responsible for forensic mapping, reconstruction, and documentation of traffic accidents, as well as event data recorder (EDR) downloads and analysis.

In 2018, Max earned his Bachelor of Science in Forensic and Investigative Sciences from Texas A&M University, College Station. He is a proficient user of the FARO 3D Laser Scanner and software such as FARO Scene, Engineering Dynamics Corporation’s Human Vehicle Environment (HVE), and Autodesk’s AutoCAD. Max is a fully accredited traffic accident reconstructionist through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) and a certified remote pilot of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) by the FAA. He is also certified as both a Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) and Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorder (HVEDR) System Operator.
