John M. Quinn

Construction expertise, opinions, and expert testimony are John’s current responsibility.  John has an extensive background in construction, literally from the ground up since 1983. Initially as a Framer, he personally built many custom homes and office buildings.  Construction projects started from excavating for foundations to handing over the keys of the completed project and every facet in between. After over 40  years in construction and consulting with several large engineering firms, John closed his own construction and consulting business to dedicate his vast construction knowledge to Aperture (Formerly CCA). This gives John and Aperture a unique perspective of construction. Not only knowing how the different building components must work together but also how contractors do their work.  John works seamlessly with the Aperture Engineering and Architectural teams as a Senior Construction Consultant. John spends a lot of time in the field and on job sites documenting existing conditions, evaluating construction, damage, and defects.  John is passionate about participating with the Aperture teams resolving complex construction issues with rock-solid opinions, durable, long-lasting construction, and repairs.  John has and continues to work in many different states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands to evaluate, schedule, coordinate, supervise, and determine remedial construction and repairs.  He also developed an undisputed reputation working with attorneys and insurance companies in many different types of cases. John’s ability to stay focused and discipline to stick with the facts has led him to being called for Expert Witness testimony in many unusual cases. John is planning and looking forward to working together as part of the ever expanding and well-rounded Aperture team for many years to come.
