Jeff Hughes began working in the construction industry in 1987 as a Designer, Estimator, Supervisor and Project Manager of construction projects. He has worked regularly with a variety of licensed design professionals including: Architects, Civil Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Electrical Engineers. He has also worked regularly with: Owners, Property Managers, Owners Agents, General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, Building Inspectors, and Certified Industrial Hygienists.

Jeff. Hughes has significant experience on a wide range of Construction Projects, including: single and multi-family residential, commercial, industrial and public properties. Jeff. Hughes’ construction experience includes: Light construction, Design/Build, Estimating/Bidding, Construction Scheduling, Construction sales and marketing, and Construction Supervision and Project Management. Jeff Hughes is experienced in the development of property condition assessments, safety analysis of industrial facilities, warehouses, offices, residential buildings and construction sites. Jeff Hughes has experience in assessment of premises liability issues relative to trip and falls, falls on stairs, raised platforms, balconies, roofs and others.  Jeff Hughes has experience in assessment of construction accidents relative to falls, stuck-by, caught-in and electrical hazards in a wide variety of construction environments.

Jeff Hughes has investigated more than 4,800 construction related dispute cases that cover a wide variety of topics including Construction Defects, Earthquake, Fire, Flood and Mold/Fungus Damage Assessments, Construction Claims, Construction Accidents, Real Estate Disclosure Analysis, Deferred Maintenance relative to Long Term Lease Agreements and Insurance Coverage Analysis.  He has conducted damage assessment and inspections and/or investigated thousands of projects in the State of California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas. Jeff Hughes has testified in: Trials, Arbitrations, Depositions, Mediations, Appraisals, in numerous construction and premises liability related matters.
