At North Carolina State University, Brian Jones was a dean’s list student and vice president of the NCSU chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Interested in the design and safety of motor vehicles, Mr. Jones focused elective studies on automotive engineering and internal combustion engines. Over the span of his career, Mr. Jones also became involved in occupant safety and injury biomechanics. As a result, Mr. Jones entered graduate school and obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics and Human Factors Option) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2008.

Since completion of his undergraduate studies, Mr. Jones has reconstructed thousands of motor vehicle/pedestrian accidents, performed hundreds of biomechanical and mechanical engineering analyses, and analyzed numerous slip/trip and fall incidents.

Mr. Jones is a licensed Professional Engineer (CA & NV) in the mechanical discipline and holds full accreditation as a traffic accident reconstructionist with ACTAR. Additionally, Mr. Jones is certified by the Bosch/Vetronix Corporation to download and analyze crash data from GM, Ford, and Chrysler vehicles.
