Forensic Engineer
Zachary Moore is a Forensic Engineer and Principal Manager with Aperture (formerly WEXCO). Since 2004, Zachary has forensically investigated and testified in a number of litigation cases including premises liability, slip/trip & falls, product defects, safety and mechanical engineering, and vehicle accident reconstruction.While investigating incidents, his duties have included inspecting incident sites, producing visual aids, researching building codes and industry standards, reconstructing vehicle accidents, developing reports, and preparing expert opinions for depositions and trial. In 2013, Zachary opened the Northern California Aperture office in the San Francisco Bay Area, a branch office serving both Northern and Central California. Here, he supervises all operations throughout Northern and Central California.
In 2006, Zachary successfully obtained a certification for the operation and testing of the English XL Variable Incidence Tribometer and has conducted slip resistance testing on numerous floor surfaces and flooring types. In 2011, he became licensed as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering by the State of California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. In 2020, Zachary successfully acquired the designation of a board-certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering (DFE) under the requisites accredited by the Council on Engineering & Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).
