
Matthew Vista
Forensic Engineer
Matthew Vista is a Forensic Engineer with Aperture (formerly WEXCO). Matt has been with Aperture since 2019 and during that time has forensically investigated a number of litigation cases in the State of California. Cases include premises liability, slip/trip and falls, product defects, safety and mechanical engineering, and vehicle accident reconstruction. When working on investigations, Matthew’s duties have included: inspecting incident sites, producing visual aids, researching building codes, researching industry standards, reconstructing vehicle accidents, and developing technical reports.
In 2017, Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. He is a certified Engineer in Training through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and a certified XL Tribometrist through the International Safety Academy (ISA).
