Jeff Hughes is a Construction Manager with Aperture (formerly WEXCO). In his time with Aperture, Jeff has investigated over 4,500 construction related dispute cases. Cases have involved construction defects, habitability claims, construction accidents, real estate disclosure analysis, as well as damage assessments related to earthquakes, fires, floods, other water damages, and mold exposure. Jeff has conducted damage assessments and inspections in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas and has testified in numerous depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trials. Jeff has been qualified to testify in court as an expert witness on numerous occasions.

Jeff graduated from the California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Two-Dimensional Design with a focus on architectural design and rendering. Jeff holds professional licenses as a B1 General Contractor, Lath/Plaster Contractor (C35), and Roofing Contractor (C39). He holds certifications in CalOSHA 10 & 30 for construction safety. Jeff is also a Certified Professional Estimator through the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE), Certified California Building Inspector of Residential & Commercial Buildings & Structures (combined designation) through the International Code Council (ICC), and Certified Fire & Smoke Damage Consultant through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). Jeff is also a medalist in Special Engineering Parameters in Pool Design through the National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI). Notably, Jeff has been appointed as an expert with the LA County Public Defender Office and has served as an expert witness at OSHA & Los Angeles City Planning Hearings.
