Forensic Engineer – Accident Reconstruction and Biomechanics
Alyssa Visalli is an Accident Reconstructionist and Biomechanical Analyst with Aperture (formerly VA Forensics). In her work with Aperture, Alyssa uses engineering principles with biomechanics to create detailed reports and investigations for motor vehicle and slips/trip and fall accidents. Alyssa also brings valuable technical writing experience to her work; making her an asset to Aperture as she is able to learn a process and explain it in a way where the outcomes are understood and reproducible.
Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Miami University of Ohio. She has devoted her career to engineering; before Aperture, Alyssa worked as a test technician for a medical device company. Her extensive experience in engineering has given her the ability to combine a love of mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes in order to search for solutions to improve and enhance the world. Alyssa comes from family of engineers and healthcare professionals—her father was an engineer for General Electric for more than 30 years, and her mother was a nurse.
