Ali Farhat

Forensic Engineer – Accident Reconstruction and Biomechanics

Ali Farhat is an Accident Reconstructionist and Biomechanical Analyst with Aperture (formerly VA Forensics). In his work with Aperture, Ali uses engineering principles to analyze accidents and the biomechanics involved in them. He then uses the analysis he gathered to generate simulations that attorneys and insurance companies can use to successfully litigate cases. His engineering experience and educational background allows him to provide superior accident analyses and service.

Ali earned his Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Dundee in Scotland. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics from the University of Engineering & Technology in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Outside of accident reconstruction, Ali has worked with lead researchers to explore new methods of cancer detection using ultrasound, as well as acquired, repaired, and maintained laboratory equipment for the Biomedical Engineering Department at Riverside Research in New York City. He has also worked as a biomedical analyst for the University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan, focusing primarily in research and development.
